As rent prices climb, finding habitable housing even in "affordable" Indiana becomes increasingly difficult. What do Indiana families do?
About this event
Amy Nelson is the Executive Director of the Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana (FHCCI). The FHCCI conducts investigations to uncover violations of fair housing laws and files enforcement actions to stop identified discriminatory practices; offers a diverse array of education programs to build knowledge of fair housing laws; and works to strengthen fair housing policies at the local, state, and federal levels. Ms. Nelson, therefore, brings a wealth of information to our next Housing Summit as we learn about the state of housing in Indiana. All is not as we may think in this state typically thought of as "affordable." Join us at First Baptist (through door #4) to learn, discuss, and identify next steps for building a safer and more just Indiana.
