Poverty Simulation: "Live" life from the perspective of a low income individual in this immersive experience

  • University High School 2825 West 116th Street Carmel, IN, 46032 United States (map)

Muslim Women Giving 100 would like to invite you to a Poverty Simulation event run by Circles, sponsored by OBAT Helpers Inc., and hosted by University High School's Muslim Student Association.

The Poverty Simulation is a three-hour event that sensitizes participants to the reality and challenges of people (and people with disabilities) living in poverty in Marion County. Participants work together as members in low-income families to determine how to survive with little to no money, few resources, emergencies, health issues and more. This experience will help those in service professions understand the challenges of those served who may be experiencing poverty.
